Wes Foreman

Co-Founder & CEO, Foreman Pro Cleaning

Most cleaning companies are built by people who know how to clean. (And a sincere shout-out to them!)

Wes built one because he wanted to see if someone who loves the “puzzle of business” could do it differently. He built it from the ground up with the customer in mind.

From Corporate IT to Building a Business

Wes spent 17+ years in corporate IT Operations. He ran data centers, managed infrastructure projects, led teams, and was accountable for mission-critical systems.

His background includes:

AVID Medical, Inc. (2004–2010)
IT Manager, promoted to Director of Network Operations. Ran infrastructure, systems, and budgets during rapid growth. Learned what happens when systems aren’t ready for scale.

Medical Action Industries (2010–2014)
Director of Network Operations, leading planning and operations for infrastructure, systems, voice, and service desk teams.

Pandora Jewelry, LLC (2014–2017)
Regional IT Director for PANDORA Americas, overseeing IT operations across the region—infrastructure, systems, service desk, and project management.

Those weren’t just IT jobs. They were a masterclass in how businesses work.

He learned how to build processes that scale, how great leaders develop teams, and how communication and preparation prevent fires instead of just fighting them.

The Leap (Scared but Ready)

Wes always had this pull toward building something of his own. But he’s risk-averse to his core.

The fear of instability, of possibly letting his family down, kept him playing it safe for years.

But the pull got stronger. So, in 2014, while still at Pandora, Wes and his brother Justin bootstrapped Foreman Pro Cleaning from scratch. No acquisition. No investors. Long nights, tight budgets, full sacrifice.

And he was all in!

What They’ve Built (And How Culture Drives It)

Wes chose commercial cleaning because he saw what could be built. A company where operational effectiveness drives results and culture powers everything, not just words on a wall.

From day one, Foreman Pro was built with the discipline Wes learned in IT operations:

Strict project management precision. Every client gets a documented plan. Every site gets a quality checklist. Systems run on repeatability, not hope.

Tech-enabled and easy to do business with. Clients communicate how they want, when they want. Technology should simplify, not complicate.

Show up legit – professional and prepared. Client meeting, site walkthrough, or problem-solving—the standard is the same: be ready, be sharp, know your stuff.

Communication is the heartbeat. In IT operations, Wes learned that great teams don’t wait for alarms to sound—they communicate proactively. That keeps everyone aligned and ahead of issues.

Great systems need great people. Wes loves building teams, giving people room to grow, and watching them become leaders. That’s the real work.

The Mindset

Wes loves being an entrepreneur.

Every day is a puzzle: how do we serve clients better, scale without breaking, keep our team engaged?

Wes has always admired the great Rafa Nadal. Fierce competitor. Relentless work ethic. And somehow, still one of the most humble, personable athletes you’ll ever meet.

That’s the balance Wes chases: work hard, stay hungry, stay grounded. Keep learning from other leaders. Stay deeply curious about what works.

By the Numbers

Since 2014, Foreman Pro Cleaning has grown to:

  • 100+ employees across Maryland, DC, and Virginia
  • 99% customer retention
  • 98% staff retention (industry average: ~40%)
  • Three offices: Annapolis MD, Washington DC, and Yorktown VA

Those numbers didn’t happen by accident. They happened because of culture, systems, and people who care.

Beyond Foreman Pro

Wes consults with small and mid-sized businesses on IT strategy and operations, drawing on nearly two decades in technology leadership. He shares his story with people stuck in corporate, wondering if they’ve missed their window to build something.

If his scars and wins help someone else move forward, he’s all in.
