There are 5 main types of commercial carpet cleaning services on the market, one of them being the hot water extraction cleaning method. While each method has their advantages, Foreman Pro Cleaning uses the hot water extraction method because of its effectiveness to flush the carpet fibers and remove dirt. Let’s look at our process in depth:
Step 1: Pre-inspection
Once an appointment is made, our professionally trained staff will start with a pre-inspection of the area. We’ll be looking for stains, stain type, and pre-existing conditions such as tears or fading. We’ll also look at the type of carpet and square footage.
Step 2: HEPA Pre-vacuum
Our staff will vacuum the carpet using a HEPA vacuum to pick up dirt, small particles and dust. We’ll move smaller furniture to vacuum underneath, but vacuum around more permeant furniture such as desks and cabinets.
Step 3: Pre-spot Stain Treatment
To ensure the complete removal of treatable stains, we’ll pre-spot stains using the most effective and safe cleaning agents.
Step 4: Wet Extraction with Cleaning & Deodorizer Agents
Using the latest technology, our machines use wet extraction with cleaning and deodorizing agents. When the machine is turned on, the water is heated and solution is circulated until optimum temperatures are reached. Our professionals will line service the entire area, being careful to clean all spaces thoroughly.
Step 5: Post Spot
If any spots remain after wet extraction, we’ll revisit the spot and treat it again. Sometimes, spots under the surface don’t become visible until the wet extraction process is completed.
Step 6: Wet Extraction Repeat as Needed
When a carpet has never been professionally cleaned, it could need a second wet extraction. We’ll communicate with you if this is needed or not.
Step 7: Post-Cleaning Inspection
Once we have completed all six steps, our final step is a post-cleaning inspection. We’ll be looking to make sure all stains are best effort removed, all areas of the carpet are clean, and carpet is left smelling fresh. The carpeted area usually takes about 3-4 hours to dry completely. Foreman Pro Cleaning provides detailed cleaning and exceptional services.
